Here are some shots I took last year testing a new lighting kit we got for the studio. I wanted to try a soft, moodier look with less contrast but incorporate some movement.
An afternoon of fun on Thompson Island with the IDEO gang.
Recently I shot portraits of everyone at our IDEO Cambridge studio. Here are a few:
Two lovely people got hitched on New Years Eve, and I had the honor of capturing these moments. It was a freezing cold day in Boston and both the bride and groom were champs – posing for pics outdoors in the courtyard at Boston Public Library and Boston Common.
Josh calls himself Dolphin Mouth. Good name. Ever better is the mural he painted in our cafe space at IDEO Cambridge. Single point perspective symmetry goodness all in under a fortnight. See our other fortnighters here.
Revisited Mass MoCA a week ago. Arriving early provided a great opportunity to snap some pics with the place to ourselves for a short while. I love industrial buildings like these, the patterns of light cascading onto different hues of rusted metal and stone make great images.
Ashley wanted a new pic to use for work etc. I think she will end up using a black and white version, but here’s one with a warm cross-processed look that I think adds that little something extra.
