After the first week in my apartment, things are starting to come together:

I spent the first night in my new apartment on Monday 16th. Everything went pretty smoothly apart from the following issues:

- My shower exploded creating an upside-down shower effect, giving the ceiling an unwelcome washing.
- The bed I bought from IKEA has a damaged headboard. Yet ANOTHER trip there. Oh god.
- It is ridiculously warm here in Boston, and my apartment has no A/C. The first night was very uncomfortable.

On Tuesday 17th Brit borrowed an A/C unit from a friend, which has helped a lot. My bedroom has chilled down to a very comfortable temperature.

I’m still assembling IKEA furniture - almost there now. The place is starting to feel like home.

Wednesday 18th - I had my comcast cable installed today. Its pretty good. For $113 a month I get digital cable with all the 10,000,000 channels, 6 meg broadband and free phone calls at evening and weekends.

Thursday today - more IKEA furniture assembling. Almost unpacked all my stuff now.

I had an extremely fun day on Saturday, all the guys came down to London to see me off in the only way possible: a pub crawl through London. Sorry to all those people who wanted a quiet drink, I think we ruined that for you! But hey, it was the first time in six years the whole gang had been in the same place. Will miss you guys, see you in Boston!
