Open house.

Open house.
Last night I went to the MITX awards at the Marriot Hotel in Boston. We had two tables representing Molecular, and we were up for several awards. I have to say the awards were extremeley well organised, and the rock and roll theme was excecuted with no expense spared. The booklets were designed like Rolling Stone magazines, they had a big MTV style stage with a live band, and really cool video skits inbetween the awards. I got to go up on stage for our Reebok award which was pretty cool - there were a lot of people in our group so we literally filled the stage.

I’ve recently had the fortune of working on a great project. 180º Pole to Pole is the journey being undertaken by Rob Gauntlett and James Hooper. They have set themselves the challange of circumnavigating the globe using only manpower, in a bid to raise awareness about climate change. They started at the North Pole a month ago, and are planning to ski/sledge down through Greenland, sail to New York, cycle through north, south and central America, before making the final leg from the tip of Chile to the South Pole in a yacht. Insane? Perhaps. Cool? Extremely. Check the site to see how they are doing.
The first task on this project was to create an identity for the guys, something that would work on a range of applications - from the web to their landrover decals.
